“ This Filipino finally made it to Kalye! The food was pretty good. The restaurant delivered a pretty authentic menu with slightly modern twists to each item. We had the lumpia, which was made from scratch and unfortunately took forty minutes to make. (It was the last item to arrive, but the host graciously and preemptively put down two skewers of Filipino bbq as a complimentary treat for us, likely because of the wait. We didn't say anything about the wait, so this gesture was really appreciated.). The bbq was good and tasted very authentic. Took me back to the street bbq vendors back in Manila. We had the adobo which definitely tasted like a Filipino pork adobo. It was heavy on the dark soy sauce flavor and was savory and perfect to match with the white rice and egg it came with. The meat could have been slightly more tender. The lechon didn't really feel like lechon (cebu) and it instead felt like lechon kawali and lechon cebu combined into one. That said, it was melt in your mouth good and was extremely flavorful. The skin (which resembled chicharon more than lechon skin) was also perfectly seasoned and made for that necessary crunch to balance the tender and silky pork fat. The sisig was decent though I've definitely had better and would likely pass on it next time. Service was very kind though a tad slow. I highly recommend the place, which is quite cute and homey. Great vibes all around. Would recommend and I would definitely come back. ”

“ Making a reservation here is a bliss. Glad that we did. This spot is very popular in the area. Funny that when we dined here today , me and bff ordered the same thing from the menu. Loved their pork sisig. It sizzles when delivered and tastes superb. The rice on the side with lemon as added bonus matched perfectly with our sisig. Ensaladang talong did not disappoint too. There are plenty of options to choose from the menu. Each kind is unique on its own way. We were satisfied with what we had. Our Ube pao dessert is heavenly, if not that we have plan afterwards, ordering a take out would be nice. The place is so adorable, a perfect spot for a meet- up or a date. I recommend the place. ”

“ This place has been on my bookmarked Filipino spots and it bangs. The spot is quite cozy so would recommend making reservations. Let's start off with the longganisa sliders: WOW. It was juicy and delicious, I was hesitant this would not be good but it exceeded my expectations. Would come back just for these. Ordered the pork adobo ribs and it's HUGE, it's served with potatoes and overall delicious - I would have liked more sabaw to drench with my rice. My friend got the sisig plate, which was pretty spicy! Overall, great experience and delicious authentic Filipino food. ”

“ 5/5 wow the food here is great. The first time i tried to come by for lunch and the wait was over 30 minutes and I ended up leaving because I was so hungry. The next time I came I decided to join the waitlist ahead of time. The restaurant itself is pretty small but the food is totally worth it. I had the cripsy lumpia, ube longganisa sliders, and the pork sisig. All of it was soooo good. The ube longganisa sliders were so unique and worth a try. I also got the halo halo at the end which was the best way to end the meal. I hope that next time I will be able to try their club 85 because I saw many other tables getting it ”
